Who is Elder Independence of Maine?
Elder Independence of Maine (EIM) is Maine's Home Care Coordination Agency. We are a division of SeniorsPlus, the Area Agency on Aging for western Maine. EIM connects people throughout the state of Maine with home care services. We are uniquely positioned to help any consumer, with offices in Bangor and Auburn, a staff of over 60 people, and access to over 150 local home and community-based care providers throughout the state.
EIM finds our clients the best possible care through our extensive network of home care providers. We are responsible for the health and well-being of over 3000 people a day, providing services ranging from transportation to extensive in-home care. Through EIM, people stay in their own homes, where they are the healthiest and the happiest.
