What is Medicaid Home Health?
Medicaid Home Health services are very similar to the Medicare benefits. Consumers must be homebound, require the skills of a registered nurse or therapist, and home health services need to be ordered by a physician. The consumer must be assessed and found eligible by a Goold RN assessor after the first sixty-two days of services to continue Medicaid Home Health services. This service is not intended for long term care. If you have questions or would like to receive services under Medicaid Home Health, you may contact your physician and/or a Medicaid Home Health agency in your area. |
